I first visited a RH Gallery in West Palm Beach in early 2020. I still talk about the lobster roll to this day. And I lived in New England for four years. Lobster at a hardware store? RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), for the uninitiated, doesn’t sell hammers and Duct tape. It’s a luxury design showroom featuring upscale home décor. It’s Gallery locations also feature rooftop restaurants and wine bars. I was thrilled to learn that RH Jacksonville would be opening November 19, 2021.

RH Jacksonville, The Gallery at St. Johns Town Center
Blurring the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, home and hospitality, this iconic Gallery, conceptualized by RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman, will command nearly 70,000 square feet across three levels and serve as a dramatic canvas for one of the most comprehensive collections of luxury home furnishings in the world – including expansive spaces devoted to RH Interiors, Modern and Outdoor. RH Jacksonville will also include an Interior Design Firm & Atelier – an interactive studio with private client presentation rooms and state-of-the-art technology providing an unprecedented level of professional design services.
Conceptualized as a transparent, multi-level contemporary structure filled with fresh air and natural light, the Gallery features a Venetian plaster exterior with an expanse of glass-and-steel French doors that open onto lush garden courtyards and terraces.
Upon ascending a grand double floating staircase, guests will arrive to the Rooftop Restaurant – offering a timeless, ingredient-driven menu in a year-round, skylit garden escape beneath a dramatic atrium with retractable glass walls, sparkling chandeliers and heritage olive trees. Seamlessly extending from indoors to out, the restaurant opens onto a beautifully landscaped park. Influenced by the great classical gardens of Europe, this immersive destination will feature a series of intimate RH Outdoor lounge spaces defined by sculptural evergreens and the sound of trickling fountains.
Situated just off the grand stair on level three, a Wine Bar presents carefully curated wine and champagne selections from around the world for visitors to enjoy in the Rooftop Park or while exploring the rest of the Gallery – including 40 wines by the glass as well as limited production offerings from some of Napa Valley’s most renowned small vintners.
Enter RH Jacksonville

Flanked by expansive loggias, the entry courtyard at RH Jacksonville is punctuated by giant banana palms, the sound of trickling fountains, and monolithic bluestone slabs embedded in decomposed granite. Guests immediately recognize they are in for a refined retail experience.
Passing through a 25-foot threshold of retractable glass and steel doors, visitors continue into the Gallery’s central hall with its soaring 14-foot ceilings. Once indoors, they enjoy unobstructed views across the entire main level to the corresponding courtyard beyond.
Along the periphery, barrel-vaulted passageways will lead to a classical arrangement of rooms with artistic installations featuring RH Interiors collections from internationally renowned designers, as well as one-of-a-kind antiques and artifacts from Friedman’s world travels.

RH Modern features the largest fully integrated assortment of modern furnishings, lighting, textiles and décor under one brand in the world.
RH Interior Design Firm & Atelier
The RH Interior Design Firm & Atelier offers an interactive 5,000-square-foot studio providing an unprecedented level of professional design services. Defined by a dramatic, 38-foot wall of floor-to-ceiling glass, designers from RH Interior Design will be located in a highly styled workspace complete with private client presentation rooms and state-of- the-art technology.
RH introduced its fully integrated design platform with the launch of RH Interior Design in 2016 offering discriminating homeowners a concierge-level program inspires customers to imagine the infinite potential of a blank canvas and make their dream space a reality.

GENERAL PUBLIC for RH Collection
Contemporary art from the GENERAL PUBLIC for RH Collection – featuring nearly 400 works from acclaimed artists across the globe – will also be showcased at RH Jacksonville.
Longtime art collector, Portia de Rossi, founded GENERAL PUBLIC with a view to bringing good art to more people. Her company’s groundbreaking 3-D technology makes that possible by redefining the limits of printing – capturing every nuance of brushwork, texture, and technique to authentically reveal the artist’s hand.
GENERAL PUBLIC’s latest collection features the fine art photography of internationally acclaimed artist Julian Lennon. The new 18 black and white and color photographs, reflecting Lennon’s travels and unique inspiration around the world, are curated by de Rossi exclusively for RH.
With each sale, a portion of proceeds will be donated to The White Feather Foundation, Lennon’s non-profit organization dedicated to environmental and humanitarian causes. Lennon’s photographic collection with GENERAL PUBLIC and RH will be available for viewing and purchase at rh.com/general-public-art.
