Roger Lightle specializes in Florida Highwaymen paintings for sale as the owner of Highwaymen Art Specialists, Inc. In addition to selling Florida Highwaymen art, he also owns some 500 paintings from the original Florida Highwaymen. His collection focuses on the greats: Harold Newton, Alfred Hair, Roy McLendon, Willie Daniels.
Lightle displays this treasure trove of Florida Highwaymen paintings in his Vero Beach, Florida home. Vero Beach is one town north on Florida’s Atlantic Coast from the historic home of the Highwaymen in Ft. Pierce.
The phrase “living with your collection” comes to mind when visiting Lightle’s home, which doubles as headquarters for Highwaymen Art Specialists, Inc. The business works to connect collectors and share the history of the Florida Highwaymen. Lightle personally became passionate about the Highwaymen in 1999 when first made aware of the group. He has now dedicated his life to Florida Highwaymen paintings for sale.

Lightle has iconic artworks in his collection painted by Harold Newton and Alfred Hair during the 1950s which he’s refused $100,000-plus offers to purchase on. Newton and Hair are the artists behind the most valuable Highwaymen paintings.
Lightle buys (a lot) and sells (a little) Florida Highwaymen paintings. Fortunately, not all of them are so expensive. Large – 24 inches by 36 inches – signed, framed oil paintings from original members of the Florida Highwaymen featuring iconic beach scenes and poinciana trees can be purchased for under $5,000.
Smaller pictures can be acquired for just over $1,000.

Florida Highwaymen paintings for sale can be found at select galleries and all over the internet on auction sites, ebay and elsewhere. Unfortunately, like all artwork, forgeries are rampant. Having spent a morning with Lightle in his home discussing the Highwaymen and his Florida Highwaymen paintings for sale, I can vouch for his credibility.
Highwaymen Art Specialists, Inc isn’t looking to take advantage of collectors and offers certificates of authenticity along with provenance and Lightle’s expertise behind all of the Highwaymen art it sells.

Lightle graciously opens his home for Highwaymen fans and collectors to view his paintings and discuss the group with him. To set up an appointment, contact him through the Highwaymen Art Specialists, Inc website.
