Artist Mary Breneman
Running through August 10th, Tori Jones Studio will host a collection of paintings by the talented Hudson, NY-based artist, Mary Breneman. Mary’s new series draws inspiration from the vibrant New York School artists such as Fairfield Porter, Alex Katz, Milton Avery, and Jane Freilicher.
The collection promises to evoke the essence of summertime.
Block Island Summer
From August 11th through September 10th, the studio will present a fine art photography show featuring photographs taken by Klaus Gemming. Gemming, along with his wife Marianne and two daughters, spent summers on Block Island during the 1970’s. Together the couple published the cult classic, “Block Island Summer,” a historical exploration of the island, featuring Klaus’s captivating photography and charming text by Marianne.
Tori Jones Studio will offer limited edition fine art prints of select images from the book. The exhibition will pay homage to the island’s rich history, while offering visitors a chance to own a piece of its heritage
